Description

Gents 1950s Rodana wrist watch.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Rodana Watch Company.
The Rodana Watch Company was founded in the 1930s. The company name was changed to Rodania in 1952 due to legal issues regarding trademark infringement concerns.
The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the handsomely shaped lugs. The case is chromium plated while the case back is stainless steel. There is marking to the chromium plate but not too noticeable at all when the watch is being worn.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with stylish numbers, original hands and outer minute markers. There is some light freckling across the dial.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
