Description

A lovely George V large silver pillbox. The box is rounded and shaped, with a gently concave waist and has a pull-off lid. There are no engraved initials or monograms and the lid has engine turned decoration in the Art Deco taste. The interior is lightly gilded. A good example, both practical and collectable. Condition :- Excellent with no holes, dents or splits. There are a few pinprick dimples to the base, commensurate with age and use.
Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. Part mark to lid.
Date :- Birmingham 1918.
Diameter :- 4.5 cms.
Height :- 2 cms.
