Description

A good example of a set of 6 antique butter knives with sterling silver handles and silver plated blades. They are good quality pieces with decorative details on the handles.
Each piece is fully hallmarked for Sheffield, 1918 and the maker James Deakin & Sons.
They are in very good condition for their age. The handles have a few minor dents and dinks and there is some light wear on the blades but nothing detrimental. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
The set comes in its original fitted box with a velvet and silk interior. The box is in good condition with some minor staining and wear to the silk bands on the hinges and some light scuffs and marks around the edges but nothing detrimental.

Box : 8 1/4” / 21cm x 6" / 15cm
