Description

An Edwardian carved solid oak biscuit barrel with silver plated fittings and label to the lid c.1910. Turned solid oak barrel with carved oak leaf design decoration. A silver plated rim to the top of the barrel with inset lid, which includes a swing carry handle sat over the top. The lid with decorative handle in the form of a ball of string and label, which is engraved 'Biscuits'; all in matching silver plate. The lid removing to reveal an immaculate white porcelain lined interior. Presented in immaculate perfect condition with a rich polish to the base. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques. Measures 5.5" diameter x 5.5" high to top of rim or 9" high to top of handle when raised.
