19th-Century Oil on Canvas Portrait Painting of a Stern Victorian Lady

Brief Description:

This is a nice quality, original 19th-century Victorian Oil on Canvas Portrait Painting depicting a stern-looking lady, who is wearing plush earrings with a matching brooch, together with a gold chain and a brown shirt with a white collar.

She is seated within a feigned oval with a gilt border.

The piece is mounted but unframed.

It displays well in its current as-found condition, but one may prefer to have it fitted into a frame.
