Description

A stunning Victorian wine carafe in flashed and cut through amethyst glass. The globe and shaft shaped body stands on a base cut with a multi point star. There is extensive and detailed cutting throughout and the neck flares at the rim for easy pouring. Unusually, this superior example retains the original matching tumbler. These lovely and versatile items would have been used for water, either to add to Whisky in the tumbler or as a bedside companion. Dimensions below.
