A charming set of antique Victorian brass fire tools complete with fire rests dating from circa 1890. Comprising a pair of tongs, a poker and a shovel all with square handles and topped with ball finials, which rest on a set of brass fire dogs with square legs and ball finials from a similar date. An attractive and lightly polished companion set ideal for displaying in front of a fireplace.

Wear and marks commensurate with age. Lightly polished finish. A very ell-executed old mend to the shovel, with a brass bracket used to strengthen an old split.
