Description

A collectable George V period solid silver vesta case with Lincoln College, Oxford enamel crest to the front, hallmarked Chester 1919. Oblong form slightly curved with rounded edges and corners for comfort in the pocket. Hanging loop to the side and match striker to the base. The front of the case with superb enamel Lincoln College, Oxford University crest set to the centre. The hinged snap top opens to reveal an immaculate unused gilt lined interior. Bears the makers mark for Chester silversmith John William Barrett along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Superb quality and presented in immaculate unused condition. Measures 1.5" wide x 0.25" deep x 2" high.
