Description

A late 19th century fine bone china porcelain coffee cup and saucer by Royal Crown Derby, decorated with a striking imari pattern, number 2451, with a rich underglaze blue, iron red enamel and copious ornate gilding. An elegant shape with moulded relief handle and high side saucer. Factory marks to the bases and date cipher for 1895, along with the pattern number, other factory decorator marks, and impressed Derby marks to the saucer.
The cup measures 6.1cm (2 3/8") high and 6cm (2 3/8") wide and the saucer measures 12.6cm (5") wide.
In excellent condition with no damage or repair and minimal handling wear.
