Description

'English Battles & Sieges In The Peninsula' by Sir William Napier. Published by John Murray, London in 1885.
Handsomely bound in an Eton School binding; full royal blue leather, five raised bands to the spine with gilt stamped Eton crest to both boards and spine. Red leather title panel. There is some light scuffing to the boards in areas but generally the boards remains in a good attractive condition. Binding remains tight.
Marbles page edges. Marbled endpapers. Eton School prize plate to front pastedown. Pages are clean throughout.
