Antique Pair Of Bronze Cherub/Putti Candlesticks
Baroque/Rococo Revival Style
A pair of antique Rococo style candlestick holders,
likely made of patinated bronze or aged cast brass,
featuring cherub or putti figures on ornate scrolling bases.
Presented in a totally original condition with a fine aged patina and signs of verdigris
which would polish to a lovely shine if required
In the Baroque or Rococo revival, often associated with French design
seated churubs holding aloft a candle socket surrounded by acanthus leaf detailing.
Often dated to the 19th century or modeled after regency period design
