Description

This is a most unusual late 19th Century silver thimble, presented here in it's original case. The thimble is probably German in origin and features a band of applied filigree with turquoise cabochons. A wonderful and unusual example and a great gift idea for the sewing enthusiast. Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or holes. The case is in good condition.
Hallmarks :- Unmarked but tests as silver.
Date :- Germany c1890.
Height :- 2.3 cms.
Diameter :- 1.9 cms.
