Description

This is a lovely dainty solid sterling silver caddy spoon,
It dates from the short reign of George IV and was assayed in the long-closed Glasgow Assay Office in 1827. The maker's mark is possibly that of Robert Turnbull. There are initials on the finial. The elongated bowl has an elegant cut out design around the edge. There is a small ding in the bowl and surface abrasions, but nothing more than would be expected of an item of this age.
