Description

An excellent mid Victorian extending book slide. This charming and usable piece is made of solid walnut and mahogany, with a lovely rich, warm colouring. The hinged ends are arched and have attractive panels of shaped and engraved brass, finished with brass stud work. The base slides on runners and extends to double its closed length. A decorative and useful piece. Dimensions below.
