Description

An early 20th century walnut sewing table, with a figured hinged top opening to a golden silk-lined compartment with pleated sides, decorative braid trim and a tufted padded lid panel, set over a similarly lined single lower drawer, all raised on attractively flared legs.
Small, useful and quietly charming, its modest proportions make it particularly practical today as a distinctive bedside table where space is at a premium.
Very good antique condition with some surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
