Description

A super quality large impressive French sterling silver gilt letter opener. It is hallmarked with the Minerva head duty mark (950 silver grade) and a makers mark G Keller. It dates to c1900. It has been superbly designed being entirely gilded (gold on silver) and bears the initials OH or HO. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, light scratches from use. It measures approx. 8.25 inches (20.6cm) long and weighs 63 grams. A very nicely designed example.
