An excellent silver sovereign case dating from the reign of George V. This stylish piece has a circular silver body with spot hammered decoration in the Arts & Crafts taste. There is a round vacant cartouche to the front and an attaching loop, for use with a fob chain or chatelaine. The case is opened at the top with a push button clasp and the internal mechanism is sprung to facilitate release of the sovereigns. An unusual and desirable collectors piece. Dimensions below.
