Description

A stylish and practical early George V novelty silver 'Bell' Inkwell. This handsome and large example has a weighted base for stability and for use as a paperweight. The lid is hinged, with an Art Deco style thumb grip. Inside is a removable inkwell liner. A highly attractive example both decorative and usable. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits.
Hallmarks :- Very soft but readable - full marks to body, part mark to inside of lid. Loss to the Maker's mark.
Date :- Birmingham 1920.
Base diameter :- 10 cms.
Height :- 11 cms. (lid closed).
