Brief Description:
This is a wonderful, original circa 1908 Edwardian oil on Canvas Painting depicting a lone trout fisherman catching a large freshwater fish with his rod and net, surrounded by a picturesque highland landscape, with mountain peaks and tall, ancient trees in the distance.
The all-original painting is mounted within the original and truly spectacular quality gilt and gesso moulded frame.
It is both signed 'W.M' and dated '1908' in the lower right corner.
