Brief Description:
This is a wonderful, original circa 1910 Edwardian Oil on Canvas Painting depicting a Devonshire stream, with an ancient footbridge, a thatched cottage and a lone fisherman sitting on the riverbank.
Painted by the renowned British artist Sydney Yates Johnson (fl. 1890-1926).
It is signed with the artist's initials in the lower left corner, and it is mounted within the delightful quality wooden moulded frame.
Titled: A Devonshire Stream, according to the attached label verso.
