Description

A very elegant George V Shaped edged Silver Dressing Table Box / Trinket / Ring Box. Hallmarked for Sheffield 1911 by renowned makers MAPPIN & WEBB.
Measuring 7.5 cm x 5.5 cm x 3 cm. Weighted base. Beautiful Green silk lining. Gross weight 71.8 grams.
Curved edge detailed design, sitting on 4 feet, gilt interior and deep green silk interior. Initials to the cartouche on the lid.
In very good antique condition. Feet sit flat, general surface wear, small dings and wear to the body and sides, hinged lid working, hallmarks clear, inside lining is good, base has a split which is not visible internally, usual signs of wear commensurate of age and use.
