Miniature Victorian Portrait Painting Oval Watercolour & Pastel x2 Paintings!
Brief Description:
This is a very fine quality, original, 19th-century Oval Miniature Watercolour and Pastel Portrait Painting on paper, depicting an attractive Victorian lady who is wearing a pretty, floral-patterned dress with a gold chain around her neck.
It is an utterly charming piece, and the attention to detail is phenomenal.
It is interesting to note that it comes with another coastal-themed miniature watercolour painting that is attached to the reverse!
It is impossible to know if the second painting is by the same artist's hand who painted the first, but it probably is, as the extremely fine quality is evident throughout both artworks.
Mounted within the original ebonised and glazed 19th-century frame.
It is a superb piece which will make a great addition to any collection.

Both the painting and the frame are offered in an overall excellent original condition commensurate with age.
