The impressive, deeply dished bowl has beautiful hand-painted floral scrolls with a wide, geometric border. Circa 1620-1640 With an interesting signature that has been inscribed on the base of the bowl (inside) - see images. It is an exceptional survivor from the period, considering it is now approximately 380 years old! Offered in great condition commensurate with age, with merely 2 or 3 tiny edge chips and a firing crack to the base of the foot.
