Description

A pretty pair of late 19th century hand-painted vases, stamped underneath Doulton Lambeth Faience. Both are decorated with cherry blossom over a pale yellow-green ground, with the design slightly different on each vase. The inside of the vases is a contrasting turquoise colour. They are of globular shape and stand on three little feet.
Condition: Both vases have wear to the feet, and one of the feet is chipped. One vase has more obvious crazing to the glaze than the other. There is a small flaw in the neck of one vase, and minor surface wear to both.
Dimensions:
Diameter - 12.5cm
Height - one vase is 14cm tall, the other is 15cm tall.
