Well modelled pair of Staffordshire Maltese dogs with good expressions, gilt collars and tags, leaning on a fence.
Staffordshire dog pairs - usually found on mantelpieces - were seen as symbols of fidelity and companionship.
Dimensions 16 cms x 16 cms
Dog on the right front facing, in very good condition
Dog on the left front facing, with a hairline crack across the chest running to the back, and crack on the jaw.
