A fine pair of Georgian brass candlesticks featuring eagle supports and circular bases — beautifully detailed and full of period character.
Full Description
A handsome pair of Georgian brass candlesticks, each raised on a circular base with a central baluster stem and eagle motif at the foot. The eagles are finely cast with outstretched wings, supporting spherical knops that lead to the candle holders above. The design combines neoclassical elegance with symbolic strength, typical of late-18th-century craftsmanship.
The brass has developed a warm, mellow patina over time, enhancing the sculptural detail and authenticity of the pair. These candlesticks are both decorative and functional, offering a refined accent to a mantelpiece, dining table, or sideboard.
