Description

A fine and unusual Victorian Staffordshire figure in the form of a spill vase. The figure shows the two children from ‘Babes in the woods’ asleep next to an enormous tulip. The figure is the finest quality and very well painted with the use of cobalt blue glaze. The figure is in excellent condition with a slight chip on the base and some wear on the tulip. C.1860.
