Description

A sweet novelty silver miniature cupboard with hinged opening door and with all over embossed decoration of children playing in a garden with birds in the trees, flowers, scrolls and a dog. Likely Dutch or German, marked to the door and top with Austrian-Hungary import marks and "800" stamped also to the door. c.1880.
It measures 3.5cm (1 3/8") high and 3cm (1 3/16") by 2.8cm (1 1/8") wide.
Condition is very good: a very tiny hole under a scroll towards the back of the top but no other issues and minor handling wear.
