Description

A mid 19thc early Victorian pair of brass candlesticks c1860. They have a turned baluster form with integral sconces (one sconce has a slightly dipped edge, which does not detract from the overall quality). They are attractive due to their unusual design where the central baluster sits on a flat half globe before it continues down the turned pedestal to a wide stepped base. Underside, the pushers are present, one with it’s button, one without. Very pleasing and good quality brass.
