Description
Victorian hallmarked solid silver nurses belt buckle. Made by Adie & Lovekin Ltd, Frederick Street, Birmingham, part of the jewellery quarter. Full Birmingham hallmark with the date letter for 1899. Unusual shape with the two connected diamonds. Solid silver with engraved decoration and pierce work. Measures 4 inches 10 cm wide and 2 3/7 inches 6 cm tall. The silver weight is 36.1 grams, a good weigh for it's size. Excellent condition, no damage or repairs to any part of the buckle. Will be delivered in a tissue lined gift box.
