Fine mid to late 19th century Japanese bronze vase, c1870. This is a fine and well-cast example; it has great shape and form and lovely decoration depicting birds and foliage. The bronze has taken on lovely rich colour/patina following years of use. Overall condition is good there is very small area of damage to the base but very minor.
