Description

Here is a metal flask with a cork stopper decorated all over with flowers and patterns in rich colours against a black background, executed in an attractive naive style.The bottle is made from metal sheets beaten together, which form a watertight bond.
The bottle stands 27cm tall with its wooden stopper in, and is 17cm wide and 11cm deep.
As displayed in the photographs, the bottle is very much in a 'used' condition with the knocks and scrapes of well over a hundred years of love and wear, but personally I think this adds to its charm.
I am also selling a larger bottle ( please see separate listing ), so should you wish to purchase both, I would definitely look to give a discount for the pair.
