Description

This fabulous Antique Micro Mosaic Brooch has been hand crafted during the late Victorian period, featuring the word ROMA for Rome.
Micro Mosaics are a special form of Mosaic that uses unusually small pieces of glass (tesserae) handmade in Italy.
The brooch boasts colourful floral Micro Mosaic tile work which have been hand set into the brooch. Each mosaic is very fine and beautifully set, making it almost appear like a painting.
This brooch would make a great addition to any collection!
