Description

A fabulous silver plated fruit basket by the great name of Elkington. The round body has superb pierced decoration, featuring flowers, leaves and fruits to the body and a beaded rim. The swing handle is similarly beaded. The base is fully marked and the E, M & Co mark denotes a brief collaboration - Elkington, Mason & Co. which has a brief time frame in the middle of the 19th Century. A highly useful and decorative piece for bread or cakes and a excellent gift idea. Dimensions below.
