Description

A charming near pair of antique elm farmhouse Windsor or wheel back kitchen chairs dating from circa 1900. Featuring turned beech legs with turned stretchers, shaped elm seats, tuned spindle uprights with shaped & pierced wheel splat back and hoop back. The chairs are solid and sturdy and have a lovely original colour and patina. There is a makers initials stamped to the back of the chairs. One chair has a slightly different splat back, but otherwise almost the same.
