Description

An immaculate Victorian crocodile skin purse with silver trim and fastener, hallmarked London 1891. The exterior made from immaculate and still supple crocodile skin with silver trimmed edges, which returns around the sides. Matching silver shield shape catch and clasp with spring release opening. The purse opening to reveal an immaculate tan leather interior with sections for bank notes, coins and stamps. The silver fittings bearing the makers mark for London silversmith George Henry James along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate condition with an even colour and patina.
