Description

A lovely antique silver coin purse on a chain, probably made to be attached to a lady's chatelaine. It is decorated with a lovely engraved scrolling pattern around a central cartouche engraved with initials WJ. It has a fitted brown leather lining with three sections.
The hallmark is slightly rubbed but it can be read as Birmingham, 1909 and the maker William Oliver. It weighs approximately 50g.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some signs of age and use and some small dinks and light surface marks but nothing detrimental and no major damages. The interior is clean and tidy. It has been cleaned and gently polished and overall it displays very well.
