Description

A charming pair of antique Victorian circular walnut Tunbridge Ware foot stools dating from circa 1850. These attractive foot stools have veneer walnut edges featuring intricate geometric tessellated mosaic woodwork to the rim of the bases and stand on small gilt brass ball feet. The tops are upholstered in a navy needlepoint tapestry cushion featuring traditional floral work.

Some veneer missing in places – see photos. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Needlework in fair, fairly clean condition.
