Description

A delightful Early19th Century New Hall Porcealain Teapot and Cover .
ICirca 1795-1804
The handle and spout are embellished with pink decoration. The lid of the teapot fits into a raised collar section. The finial to the lid is of a drawn up flower bud shape capped with pink vertical lines. New Hall made this finial hollow allowing the steam from the tea to escape. Most other manufacturers were using a separate hole off to one side of the finial.

Condition - The teapot is in very good condition and will display delightfully.There is a restored chip as shown on the rim but with no chips to the spout. Minor rubbing to the enamels. A most attractive example.
