Brief Description:

This is a wonderful 18th-century French Faience Polychrome Chinoiserie Charger Dish.

circa 1760-1770, and probably De Nevers.

The vibrant piece is decorated with a Chinese man seated on a rock, holding an umbrella in one hand, and accompanied by a small butterfly flying above.

The piece is hand-painted in vibrant colours, including blue, yellow, green and orange.
