Brief Description:

This is an adorable and intriguing Original Oil Portrait Painting on Card depicting two siblings who are seated together on a balcony with the affluently dressed young man writing a letter whilst his little sister looks on.

According to the inscription verso, the sitters are Charles & Fanny.

There is further information relating to the work within the inscription; however, we have been unable to decipher the rest.

The piece is presented in the original and beautiful quality gilt-embossed black leather (hide-bound) folio.
